Driver
Your role
As a Driver you will :
- provide reliable, high-quality driving services for one of the ECB’s decision-makers and occasionally also for other VIPs, ECB representatives and external visitors;
- provide driving services in the Frankfurt am Main area and occasionally also elsewhere in Germany and other European countries;
- use vehicles from the ECB’s fleet, ensuring that they are in good running order and that both the interior and exterior are in an excellent condition;
- arrange for vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs, as well as vehicle checks prior to driving assignments.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential :
- at least three or, ideally, five years’ experience in the provision of high-quality chauffeur services for high-ranking officials;
- in addition to the above, at least one year’s experience driving left-hand drive vehicles;
- a valid European driver’s licence and a clean criminal record certificate;
- an ability to communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders and teams and to clearly set priorities while remaining flexible and being able to adjust to changing environments and requests;
- proven resilience to stress, with a service-oriented mindset and an ability to remain impeccably discreet and tactful when dealing with confidential information;
- a proven track record of total reliability and punctuality at all times;
- professional training in safe-driving techniques and an ability to intervene in emergency situations;
- an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to s.
Desired :
- knowledge of the Frankfurt am Main area;
- up-to-date first aid training;
- computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Working modalities
Your duties will include frequent travel within Europe, sometimes at short notice and outside of standard working hours.
You may need to work rotating shifts (early and late shifts), carry out on-call duties (including at weekends and overnight) and be able to reach the ECB’s premises in less than an hour.
