About the company

Our client is a leading service provider in the logistics industry with around 80,000 employees and a turnover of approximately 20 billion euros. The company offers its customers worldwide land, air and sea freight as well as comprehensive logistics solutions and global supply chain management from a single source.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing global health and safety strategies, policies and procedures
  • Monitoring and assessing compliance with health and safety standards in all business areas
  • Identifying risks and threats to the health and safety of employees and customers
  • Developing and implementing training programmes and initiatives to improve the health and safety culture
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that health and safety standards meet legal requirements

Your profile

  • Experience in developing and implementing robust safety programmes and promoting a safety culture in a multinational environment.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and experience in health and safety, including ISO 45001 and Behaviour Based Safety.
  • Strong leadership skills, a positive attitude and diplomatic but firm demeanour.
  • Business fluent in English
  • Excellent organisational and coaching skills.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve, work independently and work under time pressure.

    • Salary information

    The compensation for this position will be in the range of €80,000 to €100,000, commensurate with experience.
