Account Manager - Mass Spectrometry - Chromatography - East Germany

Invenia have partnered with a world leader in Analytical Solutions who are seeking an experienced Salesperson to join their Spectroscopy, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry team.
About the Role :
This role will focus on selling Capital Equipment into Academic and Pharma accounts whilst working as part of a team of 11 in Germany.
This is a very exciting time to join this organisation following a heavy refocussing on their Analytical product line with new instruments in the pipeline.
Responsibilities :
- Sell Capital Equipment into Academic and Pharma accounts
- Work as part of a team of 11 in Germany
- Working within a mature and well managed territory, covering Berlin, Dresden and Liepzig
- Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth and further Business Development
Required Skills :
- 3-5 years of Sales experience within a Chemistry related product area (CapEx preferable)
- Collaborate well with others and enjoy working as part of a close knit team
- Strong Business Development skills
- Fluent German and English language skills
- A minimum of Degree level Chemistry or associated subject
This role will report directly to the DACH Sales Manager who has been at the company for nearly 15 years. They have a strong internal infrastructure, best in class products yet retain a personable, family feel within the team itself.
The first interview stage will involve an initial fact finding call with the manager to discuss your background, but also get a feel for the company / personal fit.
The individual currently in role has been with the business for 35 years and the company are seeking someone for a long term career move, with future job progression.
