Information Security Manager

My client is a leading healthcare organisation.

Location Flexibility :

Choose the best location for your work this position offers the possibility to work remotely (within Germany) for up to 60% of your working hours, depending on coordination with your manager.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Provide information security guidance, governance, and services to protect data and assets, aligning with the business strategy.
• Ensure effective information security controls within relevant processes, focusing on identifying, protecting, detecting, defending, responding to, and recovering critical assets to ensure business continuity and enhance cyber resilience.
• Manage KPIs related to IT information security, including process creation, risk analysis, tracking, advisory on remedial actions, and reporting.
• Support the development of processes for reviewing external IT providers and suppliers, adhering to established IT security guidelines.
• Oversee continuous reporting of IT security projects and initiatives.

Your Qualifications and Experience :

• A master’s degree in Information Technology, IT Security, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in the IT sector, particularly in information security, with relevant certifications (e.

g., ISO 27001, ISO 27701, CISSP, CISM).

• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or vocational training combined with additional professional experience in this field are also welcome.
• Strong knowledge of information security and data protection regulations.
• Solid experience in reporting security metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in defining and implementing strategic goals and cybersecurity asset protection processes.
• Proficient in project management and managing internal and external providers and suppliers.
• Experience in risk assessment and risk management is ideal.
