Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech?® Vishay Electronic GmbH is currently seeking applicants for a Product Marketing Specialist (m / f / d) for Non-Linear Resistors, a division responsible for NTC, PTC thermistors and Varistors.

Job Location :

Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is the European headquarter and development and production site for passive components. Since 1996 as part of Vishay we have been manufacturing resistors and capacitors.

These electronic components are used in medical, entertainment and automotive electronics, among others. With around 900 employees, Vishay plays a key role as one of the most important employers in our region.

The town of Selb is located directly on the Czech border and boasts the scenic surroundings of the Fichtelgebirge.

What you will be doing :

• Understand the customer requirements and propose the right product offering to create a value for the customer
• Develop product price and profitability strategies, and recommend improvements
• Assist and coordinate new product introductions
• Support product design in by visiting customers and by organizing technical workshops
• Analyze and report product market trends to grow market share
• Work on brand / product awareness by supporting technical product documentation

What you will bring along :

• University degree in engineering, preferably in Electronics
• Product application knowledge, preferably from Automotive and Industrial applications
• Fluent in English and German
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn, travel and work in an international team
