Team Lead (Mechanics) (w/m/d), Hannover
As a Team Lead at Voi, you'll manage a dynamic team of Mechanics, ensuring top-notch service for our users and cities. With a focus on operational excellence, you'll oversee vehicle servicing, repairs, transportation, repositioning, and battery swapping.
Plus, you'll divide your time between leadership duties and getting hands-on with tasks based on business priorities.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help train and lead an in-house hunting team
- Lead the development and improvement of internal and external processes
- Make sure time / task reporting is done correctly
- Willingness to perform one-off or new tasks as needed
- Manage key metrics and report to relevant stakeholders
- Support, coach and develop your team to fulfill their potential
- Help manage schedule and shifts and ensure a substitute is found if needed
- Report all accidents, incidents or unsafe conditions and take all necessary steps to prevent accidental damage to employees, property, warehouse, equipment or the environment.
- Ensure full awareness of and compliance with the requirements of all relevant Company / Customer Safety Handbooks, safety procedures, working environment guidelines, and emergency procedures
- Be ready to get hands-on and execute repairs alongside the Fleet Specialist team, ensuring that KPIs are reached in time and backlog is not built
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
The Mechanics Team Lead is a driven, high-energy individual with a capacity to understand repairs, warehouse and logistic related work.
With excellent communication skills, and a willingness to perform one-off tasks as needed, you can motivate others to reach and exceed their targets.
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferably within a high-growth technology company within mobility or logistics.
- Previous experience managing high-performing teams as a supervisor.
- Sense of quality control and rapid scaling.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to motivate others and to share knowledge within the team.
- A pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets and KPI’s.
- Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations (vehicles breaking down, people calling in sick, etc).
- Ability to work Flexibility to work early morning, day, evening, and / or night shifts, shifts including possible shifts during nights and weekends (shifts rotate on a weekly basis).
- Mechanical interest with experience of working with basic mechanical tools.
- Excellent leadership and ability to identify top-tier talent.
- Fluent in English and German.
