Senior Risk Analyst Policy & Control

Responsibilities :
- Implement policy to establish, communicate, and enforce standards for managing market and credit risk across all functions and regions.
- Establish, communicate, and implement risk management standards for trading algorithms, Country Risk, and Financial Regulations (e.g. EMIR, MiFID)
- Implement internal governance standards for Financial Regulation restrictions and thresholds.
- Coordinate annual risk capital allocation according to its financial situation.
- Ensure their Risk Strategy describes how the organisation addresses various risk categories.
- Effectively run essential risk controls (e.g. Limit monitoring, Market Conformity check), handle Policy breaches, and act as ICS coordinator for Risk Management to ensure consistent risk controls across locations.
- Ensure compliance with risk policy criteria for new business activities, by centralising evidence of new trading product implementation across Risk teams.
Requirements :
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, Finance, or related field- and preferably supporting work experience.
- Demonstrated interest in security, defending and strengthening Risk Policy & Control principles.
- Promote a robust risk culture through reasonable policy principles.
- Expertise of Financial Regulation (EMIR, MiFiD, MaRisk) and Risk Governance requirements.
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Proficient in public speaking and presentation
- Organisational and problem-solving skills
- Capable of managing stakeholders across functions and locations to meet deadlines Fluent in written and spoken English and German

This is a senior position with an annual salary of up to €110,000. Fluency in German and English is necessary to be considered.
