• you will be part of an international and diverse 6-person development team as a lead and an important member of the editorial section
• you will be responsible for the development of the individual team members, motivating and helping them to achieve their goals
• in this position you will work closely with colleagues from other departments and our stakeholders
• you will be a pragmatic voice showing where to invest engineering efforts to drive business outcomes
• you will manage various projects simultaneously and work with varying tech-stacks
• you will be responsible for establishing a technical roadmap and balancing product and engineering concerns

Qualifications

positive, ambitious person with a passion for tech and people management

• you have proven leadership experience, working with software engineering teams
• you have excellent abilities to manage multiple projects and adeptly handle frequent switches between different technology stacks
• you have in-depth knowledge of backend development, particularly in Java and Golang - additional experience in technologies like React, Cypress, and Kotlin would be beneficial
• you possess a solid understanding of cloud infrastructures, especially with AWS and Kubernetes
• you have great communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and other departments
• you are solution-oriented, like to tackle complex technical challenges and are open to exploring new paths
• you are fluent in English German would be a plus
