(Junior) Site Reliability Engineer (all genders)

As a Site Reliability Engineer (all genders), your mission is to help maintain and further develop our internal self-service platform. This platform enables our development teams to deploy, monitor, and scale their applications efficiently - while upholding the highest standards of security, and reliability.

You are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a reliable and secure cloud infrastructure that forms the backbone of our applications and services

You play a crucial role as a key enabler between development and operations, ensuring smooth collaboration

You take ownership of evaluating and integrating new technologies to continuously improve system efficiency and security

Das bringst du mit / That's what you bring to the table :

You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field, and bring 2+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related role. Ideally, having touch points with production systems on AWS and Kubernetes

You bring strong problem-solving skills, a proactive, hands-on approach, and a passion for continuous learning, taking ownership, and working in a collaborative environment

You have practical experience with cloud infrastructure and you’ve worked with Terraform

You have experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting

You have experience with building dashboards and alerts

You are fluent in spoken and written English and can communicate clearly

Nice-to-have technology experience : Go (preferred), JavaScript, Python, Postgres, Prometheus, Grafana LGTM, NATS JetStream

Ideally, you have a passion for modern security principles and / or hands-on experience implementing compliance frameworks

Within 3 months, you will complete your onboarding and begin taking on tasks with the support and guidance of your teammates

Within 6 months at collect.AI, you will take ownership of smaller projects, still collaborating closely with your team for support and feedback

Within 12 months, you will lead larger initiatives independently, driving key topics and contributing as a fully integrated member of the team
