• Setting up and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes.
• Preparing raw material and fixtures.
• Working on highly complex prototype and production components.
• Independent control of components with modern measuring equipment (dimensions and tolerances)
• Assistance in the continuous process optimization of workflows, optimize the life and use of cutting tools.
• Work cross functionally with related departments.
• e.g., work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes, equipment & tooling, and machining efficiency.
• e.g., improve manufacturing standards and process requirements.
• e.g., support digital improvements and innovations while working with manufacturing execution systems.
• Assist Manufacturing Lab team in development of tooling and new equipment commissioning and implementation.Ihr Profil
• Educational background as Cutting machine Operator, Toolmaker, CNC Technician or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years’ Experience with 3 axis or 5 axis machining center required.
• Experience in Conversational Programming beneficial (Siemens 840D and / or Mazatrol SmoothX)
• Experience with conventional lathe, surface grinder and milling machines beneficial.
• Must be able to work from complex and detailed documentation and / or verbal and written instructions depending on situation.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions setup sheets.
• Experience with operating and maintaining a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment. Experience operating high volume production machinery preferred.
• High level of self-reliance with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
• Very good technical English language skills required; German language is a plus.Was erwartet Sie
