We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Site Director to lead their logistics operations in Cologne and drive efficiency, productivity, and excellence.

Position Overview : As the Logistics Site Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations in Cologne.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site's logistics functions, ensuring smooth processes from receiving to distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the logistics team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and warehouse activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the logistics operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners to drive collaboration and streamline processes.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing logistics operations, optimizing processes, and achieving operational excellence.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
