About the role

We are looking for an exceptionally talented frontend (or frontend-leaning full-stack) engineer to join our team.

As the ideal candidate, you will already have a successful career in frontend development to show for, you will have built entire applications from ground up, you will have been responsible for aspects of deploying and maintaining these apps, and you will have managed this work in coordination with other developers and designers without the need to rely on a PM to break down work into sizeable chunks for you.

In this role you will be

• A leading role in developing our frontend applications, ensuring they deliver value to our users whilst being an absolute joy to use
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to determine required APIs and backend functionality. Maintain clear communication channels to ensure smooth integration of frontend and backend components.
• Rapid prototyping of novel user interfaces
• Navigate swiftly in a dynamic environment, ensuring the prompt completion of projects by adapting to fast-paced scenarios
• Uphold and enhance application performance, security standards, and best practices, ensuring our software remains reliable and efficient

About you

• 4+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Engineer, working on complex UI-heavy applications with great attention to UX
• Proficiency in frontend development technologies, latest features and best practices, as well as front-end development design patterns and techniques
• Hands-on experience with frontend testing approaches and libraries (i.e. Testing Library, visual snapshot testing)
• Proven track record of shipping innovative software products from conceptualizing and discovery all the way to launch and iterations
• Structured thinking and the ability to distil complex issues into a comprehensive strategy
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• A strong product sense, specifically an intuition for user flows and user experience

In addition, the following would be an advantage :

• Technical acumen with experience in data analysis, machine learning, AI and LLMs is a plus
• Previous experience working in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment
