Embedded Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer (f / m / d) to join our dynamic team based in Darmstadt.

Responsibilities :

• Designing and developing software for advanced Machine Vision Solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement software platform solutions
• Evaluating and validating emerging embedded processor technologies
• Coordinating with hardware development teams to ensure seamless integration
• Leveraging your expertise in image processing for embedded systems
• Implementing standardized software interfaces in alignment with industry best practices

Requirements :

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline
• Proven experience in software development for embedded systems, with a focus on hardware-related aspects
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++ for embedded (Linux) operating systems
• Additional knowledge in areas such as Linux Kernel Configuration or Development, Image Processing product development, or FPGA / Real-time software development is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, V-Model, and Software Deployment practices
• Strong commitment to producing high-quality software solutions that are readable, maintainable, and testable
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English
