Overview
Key responsibilities :
- As an actuary in the agile corporate customer actuarial department, you and your team will play a key role in shaping companies tariff landscape
- On the basis of state-of-the-art statistical modelling methods, you will derive concrete tariff and action recommendations for management, which are directly applied in sales
- With enthusiasm for state-of-the-art technologies, you work on open source tools and adapt them to your own ideas
- You will continuously develop the modelling and data infrastructure of property insurance in an interdisciplinary exchange
Qualifications required :
- You have a very good master’s degree or a doctorate in mathematics, statistics, business mathematics or similar
- You have an apprenticeship as an actuary DAV
Experience required :
- You have at least two years of professional experience as an actuary in property insurance
- You are not only mathematically fit, but also have an affinity for programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL, Git) and preparation of complex data as well as statistical modeling
- You convince with analytical skills paired with an independent and proactive way of working
- You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
