The scientific environment for the professorship will be theTUM Campus Heilbronn. The professorship is targeted to join the Heilbronn DataScience Center and to connect to the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include research and teaching, aswell as the promotion of early-career scientists. We seek to appoint an expertin the research area of Marketing Analytics, focusing on the intersection with advancedtechnologies like virtual / augmented reality and hyper-personalization (drivenby artificial intelligence).

Teaching responsibilities include courses in theuniversity’s bachelor and master programs, especially in the Bachelor in Management & Data Science andthe newly designed Master in Managementand Digital Technology.

A firmcommitment to the Heilbronn Data Science Center and active involvement in itsbuild-up phase are greatly appreciated.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated excellentachievements in research and teaching in an internationally recognizedscientific environment relative to the relevant career level (please see style "font-size : 10.

A university degree, an outstanding doctoral degree orequivalent scientific qualification, pedagogical aptitude, and the ability toteach in the English language are prerequisites.

Substantial researchexperience abroad, strong knowledge of data science applications for marketingresearch, and the commitment to conduct interdisciplinary research areexpected.

We specifically value a provenability to gain and lead cooperative research projects and to attractthird-party funding (DFG, EU, AiF).

Experience in the development of a researchcenter is also beneficial.
