Profil
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive CO2 reduction strategy in line with company goals as well as ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards.
- Monitor and analyze carbon emissions data, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate carbon reduction initiatives into business operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of sustainability professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry groups, and environmental organizations.
- Educate and engage employees on carbon reduction practices and the importance of sustainability.
- Prepare and manage the department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Identify and assess new technologies, partnerships that can help reduce carbon emissions and stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in carbon management.
YOUR PROFILE
- Ideally you have a degree in sustainability management, environmental sciences or a comparable course of study.
- First professional experience in the field of sustainability and knowledge in carbon footprint management are beneficial.
- Strong project management skills and high awareness about sustainability and CO2 reduction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive the appropriate measures.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders and team members at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have good communication skills in German and English.
