Our successful Payment Hub is looking for a Software Engineer to develop improve and maintain our payment service systems. Your primary responsibility is to ensure we have a maintainable and scalable product while delivering new features in line with the product strategy. Therefore you will work closely with the Payment Fraud Game and Customer Service teams to facilitate the strategic alignment.

YOUR MISSION

  • Independently develop and improve the payment system including payment service providers backend systems services and APIs
  • Develop applications and services from the infrastructure to the backend and frontend.
  • Responsibility for the complete software lifecycle (cooperation with stakeholders architecture development automated testing running and monitoring)
  • You will work with Amazon Web Services Docker PHP 8.0 and corresponding frameworks
  • Ensure application quality through testing pair programming and code reviews

YOUR BACKSTORY

  • Several years of relevant programming experience and a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent education
  • Solutionoriented and eager to devise practical solutions to complicated problems
  • Proficient in objectoriented programming and open to additional programming paradigms
  • Solid knowledge of PHP 8.0 JavaScript HTML SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Interest in DomainDriven Design Infrastructure as Code and messageoriented architecture
  • Familiar with Git and the concepts of Continuous Integration and DevOps
  • Fluent written and spoken English
