Summary
We are looking for a "System Architect for Embedded Software & Hardware (f / m / d)" for the "Smart Sensors" division at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The "Smart Sensors" division develops imaging sensors, active sensors and warning sensors. These sensors are sensitive in the visual to infrared spectral range and are used for reconnaissance and target detection in civilian and military applications.
The "Sensor Electronics and Hardware" team is responsible for the electronics and software of these sensors. Other teams in the division are responsible for technical management, optical and mechanical design and the corresponding sensor measurement technology.
Your Tasks
Conceptual design and continuous technological development of the architecture of complex smart imaging solutions
Design of camera electronics for sensor technologies from the visual to thermal infrared range
Coordination and revision of requirements from the higher-level system architecture and transfer to the technical specifications
Analyzing the requirements for signal and command interfaces within the framework of the standards required by the system
Establishing and maintaining a network of service providers
Assigning subcontracts within and outside the development organization
Planning and coordinating the individual project modules within the "Embedded Software & Hardware" topic
Supporting the integration of components and ensuring functionality in the overall system
Supporting production during the start of series production
Your Profile
Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in dealing with national and international subcontractors as well as internal customers and cooperation partners
Several years of experience in project management, in development projects, ideally in an agile environment advantageous
Practical experience in digital and analog circuit technology
Development experience with modeling in UML and object-oriented programming in embedded systems
Experience in verification and validation
Knowledge of safety-relevant standards such as DO-178, DO-254, IEC 61508 or ISO26262 advantageous
Systematic, networked thinking as well as a high degree of initiative and commitment
Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as flexibility
Good knowledge of German and English
