Study Nurse

Hobson Prior is seeking a Study Nurse for a part-time contract in an company specialising in clinical trials. The role involves working in a clinical research setting, acting as a liaison between researchers and patient volunteers.

The main focus is to ensure that patients are treated ethically and safely throughout the research process. The role requires two days of work every four weeks, with one day dedicated to drug accountability and the other to data entry and query resolution.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities :

• Ensuring patient safety : You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with patient safety protocols during clinical research programs.
• Coordinating patient consent : You will explain the research process to patients, secure their consent for treatments and data collection.
• Collecting data : You will play a key role in collecting patient data, including vital signs, before and after treatments to measure the impact of the treatment.

Key Skills & Requirements :

• You should have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• You should be certified as an RN or LPN.
• Having an IATA certificate is a plus.
• You should be open to working as a freelance contractor.
