Job Title : Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (CSRD) Senior Manager or Manager.
One of my ambitous clients is currently building their ESG Consulting department and is winning many projects in the area of CSRD in particular.
I am looking for the future leaders of this area who can take real responsibility in the CSRD topic, and can lead projects and be a team leader in the company.
Position Overview : We're in search of a proactive CSRD Senior Manager (6-8 years PQE) or Manager (4 years) to lead our efforts in helping German clients integrate sustainability and responsibility into their corporate strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Advisory : Provide expert guidance to German clients on developing and implementing comprehensive CSRD strategies aligned with international standards and best practices.
- Strategy Development : Collaborate closely with clients to design customized CSRD frameworks, considering their industry, values, and stakeholder expectations.
- Impact Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments of clients' sustainability performance, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and communities, to understand their expectations and concerns regarding sustainability and responsibility.
- Reporting and Transparency : Assist clients in preparing transparent and credible CSRD reports, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on emerging trends, standards, and regulations in CSRD, providing clients with insights and recommendations to enhance their sustainability efforts.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Masters in a relevant field of study.
- 4+ years' experience in sustainability consulting, corporate responsibility, or related areas.
- Deep knowledge of CSRD frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, and SDGs, and experience in applying them to diverse industries.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex sustainability concepts into actionable strategies.
- Fluent in German; proficiency in English is a plus.
- The ability to regularly travel to any major German city.
- Knowledge of the predecessor NFRD framework.
