The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team in Berlin. The Technical Writer will play a crucial role in supporting our product teams by creating high-quality technical documentation and content.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent writing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

What you will do :

• Collaborate with product teams to understand and document technical specifications, features, and functionalities of our products.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive English technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, API documentation, and release notes.
• Work closely with Product Managers to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content.
• Review, edit, and proofread existing documentation to maintain consistency and adherence to established standards.
• Conduct research as needed to stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Assist in maintaining a central repository of technical documentation and ensure documentation is organised, accessible, and easily searchable.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide input on documentation-related matters.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of documentation processes.
• Manage graphics and visual assets in collaboration with the design team to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of technical documentation.

What you will bring :

• Proven experience as a English technical writer in the telecommunications or technology industry.
• Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Writing, Literature, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience editing and managing graphics and visual assets using design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
