YOUR ROLE
Monitor and assess globally legal waste frameworks including specific Extended Producer Responsibility regulations (related to Packaging, WEEE directive, Batteries) and provide updates on policy development
Coordinate EPR requirements and packaging compliance reporting requirements including REA (Renewable Energy Association) report set ups, data analytics and data management
Support in harmonizing the EPR framework globally by transferring best practices for EPR data management and reporting across business units and countries
Provide guidance on legal compliant data collection & data management including documentation of all respective processes and data sources
Identify and shape potential training needs with Business Units and key stakeholders
Compile the methodologies and definitions for circular economy & packaging targets 2030 and ambitions
Support the development of the circular economy & packaging Strategy 2030 by coordinating the development of appropriate definitions and relevant methodologies
Work in gremia and engage in advocacy efforts to drive ESG initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
Work on ad-hoc projects and duties as required by management
YOUR SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in environmental law, economics, sustainabilitymanagement or a related field
8 years of relevantprofessional experience with focus on implementing or developing EPR policies
Understanding of global waste frameworks, Extended Producer Responsibility regulations, environmental policies and policy development
Proficiency in coordinating EPR requirements and sustainability reporting
Insights and understanding of Packaging Recovery Organizations requirements about reporting requirements and the methodology of fee calculation
A strong multi-tasker-capable of planning, organizing details while communicating effectively on all levels within the organization
Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence within a multi-matrix organizational structure, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
Proactive approach to decision-making and problem-solving, coupled with a hands-on mentality
Business Proficiency in English, German is a plus
