What You Will Be Doing
Project Planning and Execution :
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Ensure the successful execution of projects by closely monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to meet organizational objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Resource Management :
- Allocate resources appropriately to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Work closely with team leads to assess workloads, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimize resource allocation.
Risk Management :
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks to minimize the impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Proactively address issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance :
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure project success.
Stakeholder Communication :
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Address stakeholder concerns and expectations, ensuring alignment with project outcomes.
Continuous Improvement :
- Conduct project retrospectives to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lessons learned to enhance project management processes.
What You Bring To The Job
- A university degree (BSc or MSc) in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline)
- Multiple years of experience managing IT, Cybersecurity, or software integration-type projects
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in a technology-driven environment
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Prince 2 or PMP certification or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Project Management software or tools, and project scheduling
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented attitude and ability to prioritize tasks and a multi-tasker
- Sharp decision-making ability : you can balance multiple feedback loops and integrate them into customer-focused decisions and product priorities
