System Engineer Linux Server / Storage (m / f / d)

Your tasks :
- You are responsible for the administration and further development of the highly available Linux server landscapes
- You will assume operational responsibility for WWK's central storage systems
- Incident, problem and change management for the above-mentioned environments are part of your area of responsibility
- You act as a contact person for external service providers and employees from the IT department on technology, process and project issues
- You analyze, evaluate and document alternative solutions, taking technological and economic aspects into account
- The documentation of IT systems, tools and processes round off your field of activity
Your skills :
- You have successfully completed your studies or training in the IT field and can already look back on at least three years of professional experience
- You have experience in the administration of Linux servers
- You have good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the storage systems from NetApp and Pure Storage
- Ideally, you already have some experience with the operation of Docker containers with Rancher
- You are characterized by initiative, independent work, high commitment and above-average resilience
- Strong planning and organizational skills, conceptual abilities and an analytical mindset are among your strengths
