Senior Chemical Engineer
Title : Seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer (M / F / D) for Medical Manufacturing in Poppendorf
Introduction :
DSJ Global is currently working with a leading medical device manufacturer based in the beautiful town of Poppendorf, Germany.
Our client specializes in filtration products and dialysis machines used to improve patient care worldwide.
Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Chemical Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing chemical processes within our manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate must have expertise in Polymeric Materials experience as well as Plastics Chemistry Analysis techniques.
Key Qualifications & Skills Required :
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree qualification required
- Minimum 5 years' relevant industrial work experience preferably gained from healthcare industry
- Hands-on knowledge of polymeric materials; filter membranes production process development will be desirable.
- Polymer synthesis / characterization using modern analytical tools such FTIR,DSC,TGA etc., would also add value to this role,
Experience with plastics chemistry analysis including mechanical testing methods like Tensile Testing , DMTA etc.,
Familiarity with cGMP regulations / Quality systems requirements preferred
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Conducting experiments at lab scale level on new polymers / membranes formulations which can enhance product performance .
- Ongoing optimization / improvement activities related existing polymer membrane portfolio along-with trouble shooting support ,
- Support New Product Introduction by ensuring that all aspects involving Polymers / materials selection meet quality standards while adhering regulatory guidelines / cGMP protocols across plant locations .
