Customs Brokerage Manager

Introduction :
Our client is seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager to join their logistics team. As the leading global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions and logistics services across various industries, we are looking for someone who can lead customs compliance efforts while overseeing operational activities within this sector.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of customs brokerage operations in accordance with legal requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of import / export transactions
- Develop strategies that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies at both national and international levels
- Oversee daily communication between brokers / customs agents on behalf of clients
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required (preferably in Logistics)
- 7+ years' experience working directly within a customs environment.
Skills
The successful applicant should possess expertise / skills / competencies / experience related to one or more fields including but not limited to :
- Strong knowledge base regarding regulations governing imports / exports throughout Europe
- Knowledgeable about current trends impacting business practices specifically relating to changes made by EU officials
- Demonstrated ability developing relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability executing multiple tasks seamlessly
