Senior Corporate Communications Manager (m/f/d)

As Senior Corporate Communications Manager , you'll be the architect of our corporate communications, fostering relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and the public.

Your responsibilities include crafting compelling press releases, and orchestrating strategic communication campaigns with finesse.

You'll lead a team in building and maintaining our brand reputation, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and values.

This position is unlimited and located in Munich .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• identify and amplify the storytelling opportunities for Westwing's corporate topics to maximize buzz, media coverage and raise brand awareness
• promote Westwing as a thought leader and eCommerce pioneer amongst trade-, business, and industry media including classic media as well as new media and communication formats (e.

g. podcasts) and event formats

• develop and execute an innovative strategy to position Westwing spokespeople via feature stories, interviews, broadcast segments, and speaker engagements, including setting up pres s material (content, imagery), interview briefings, and conduct media training
• build up a strong internal network and consult with all business departments regarding corporate PR topics and communication strategy
• secure high-level placements in top-tier print, digital, and broadcast media
• leverage existing media relationships and cultivate a strong network with the trade press, B2B platforms, opinion leaders
• further develop LinkedIn as an important corporate communication channel and be responsible for the weekly posts
• handling sensitive and critical topics professionally
• work with Investor Relations on financial communication for quarterly and annual reports
• monitor, analyse and communicate Corporate PR results on a weekly, quarterly and yearly basis
• maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

YOU COME WITH

• 5+ years in-house or agency work experience in Corporate Communications / PR with broad experience across a range of communications disciplines
• a strong network in the local media landscape and business press
• strong networking and interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management skills
• creative thinking, problem-solving mind-set, hands-on attitude and a passion for and clear understanding of the Westwing brand
• experience in designing and developing PR strategies including measuring and reporting
• ability to work with sensitive issues and react to short-term topics
• knowledge of Social Media, especially LinkedIn as a corporate communication channel
• excellent oral, written and presentation skills
• fluency in German and English
