Project Sales Specialist

As Project Sales for Central Europe m / f / d (potentially BeNeLux, Germany and UK) you will be able to provide a single point contact for international Engineering contractors, consultants and Licensors.

Managing the defined territory and leading strategic focus with regular interface for assigned accounts. Primarily responsible to increase OE sales from early identification of feasibility / FEED studies and targeting EPC’s through their Engineering and procurement process whilst liaising closely with RP end-user sales to ensure an effective sales process.

Main responsibilities :

• One Face One Customer : Single Point of Contact calling on customers in the territory on a regular basis to grow the business in all project market segments, per the guidelines established.
• Grow business in all project market segments by calling on assigned customers on a regular basis to ensure RP are invited, considered and possibly preferred by key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences and develop new relationships to maintain and grow customer / territory interactions through extended RP offerings and solutions.
• Identify ways for RP to extend our relationship with existing customers through defining needs and applying suggested solutions, which may benefit customer metrics.
• Represent all Ruhrpumpen products as defined in sales strategies.
• Partner with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements to insure proposals are generated to meet requirements.
• Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions to mutual satisfaction of all parties.
• Travel to customer locations to ensure close and regular face to face contact per company guidelines.
• Entertain customers during and outside normal business hours on a regular basis.
• Responsible for all customer / territory communications and interactions through daily update in CRM and forecast which includes industry / market / account competitive analysis to support management strategy development.
• Maintain all company tools in good working order.

Job's requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.
• Candidates must be fluent in English, other languages such as German, Dutch, and / or French may be considered beneficial to the region or role.
• Extensive understanding of the Engineering contractor process; from feasibility to construction.
• Thorough understanding of tender processes including technical specifications combined with the ability to translate requirements into product sales strategies.
• Confidence to pro-actively develop Engineering accounts and challenge customers to accept new ideas.
• Understanding of customer objectives; identifying new accounts and ability to translate into a strategic vision for implementation.
• Upon training the Project Sales role is expected to size, select pumps and be able to produce New equipment proposals utilizing RP quotation & CRM tools.
• Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50% of the time.
