Senior Principal, Global Executive Compensation (all genders)
Job Description
As a Global Executive Compensation, Senior Principle you play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing executive compensation programs, (VP and above), within Delivery Hero’s Berlin HQ and 9 major Brands, (Efood, foodora / Yemek, Foodpanda, Glovo, Hungerstation, Peya, Talabat, Woowa).

Strategy Development : Develop and implement executive compensation strategies that align with the organization's objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Program Design : Design executive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, equity awards, and other benefits, ensuring they attract and retain top talent while incentivizing performance and aligning with shareholder interests.
Market Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market analysis and benchmarking studies to ensure the competitiveness and fairness of executive compensation packages.
RemCo & Policy Development : Develop and maintain executive compensation RemCo, policies and guidelines that promote transparency, equity, and governance best practices.
Regulatory Compliance : Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and governance principles related to executive compensation, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal and reputational risks.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with senior leadership, board of directors, compensation committees, and external consultants to communicate and gain alignment on executive compensation strategies and decisions.
Performance Evaluation : Establish performance metrics and criteria for executive compensation evaluation, regularly assessing the effectiveness and impact of compensation programs.
Executive Communication : Communicate compensation-related information to executives, providing clarity on compensation structures, performance expectations, and opportunities for growth and development.
Change Management : Lead compensation-related initiatives and projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with overall compensation strategies.
Data Analysis : Utilize data analytics and financial modeling techniques to analyze compensation trends, forecast future costs, and optimize executive pay practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (, Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.
Extensive experience (typically 6-8+ years) in executive compensation, including program design, implementation, and administration, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
In-depth knowledge of executive compensation principles, practices, and trends, as well as familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, conduct market analysis, and make data-driven recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives, board members, and external stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align compensation programs with organizational objectives and shareholder interests.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to influence decision-making, lead cross-functional teams, and drive change initiatives.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential compensation information.
