What do you contribute?
You will support the sales department in developing optimized implementation concepts and coordinate and monitor installation activities (temporarily) on site.
You will manage and advise a team of qualified specialists and technicians and ensure compliance with processes, procedures and requirements.
To this end, you will plan, coordinate and monitor the technically correct, timely and cost-effective installation of traction power supply components.
This also includes the acceptance of work carried out by third parties and the review of corresponding site documentation.
- You coordinate the interfaces between various technical and non-technical partners and define and support opportunity and risk measures.
- You will also be involved in reviewing the installation costs incurred, comparing them with the progress of the installation and the project cost data and informing project management and other stakeholders of cost overruns at an early stage.
- You will support the tendering and awarding of installation contracts to third parties by improving technical documentation in accordance with established guidelines and providing expert support during contract and amendment management.
- Together with interdisciplinary teams and third parties, you will develop and implement tangible execution concepts, taking into account risk minimization and cost reduction.
- You will be part of a global network of experts and promote the development and expertise of the methods developed within international Siemens Mobility through the exchange of experience and best practices.
What do you bring along?
- You have a Master's degree in electrical engineering or a similar engineering field with electrical engineering content.
- In addition, you have many years of relevant experience in projects in the field of traction current electrification, power generation or high-voltage direct current transmission.
- You also have many years of in-depth experience with Siemens or comparable railroad electrification systems and associated equipment.
- You have expertise in project planning and development as well as in team leadership in the field of construction site or technical project management.
- You can demonstrate intercultural experience through stays abroad as well as a willingness to travel up to 50% worldwide.
- You are fluent in English and ideally speak German well.
