ESG Manager, Leading Mid-Market Private Equity Investor, Frankfurt, Germany About our client
Our client is a leading mid-market private equity investment firm which is looking for an ESG Manager to develop the firm's sustainability programme at all levels. What the job involves
- Further development of the firm's sustainability and ESG strategy
- Contact person for portfoliopanies on ESG-related issues
- Development of measures, KPIs and their implementation
- ESG reporting ( with regard to CSRD and other EU taxonomy)
- Monitoring of legal framework conditions and derivation of rmendations for action
- Cross-industry ESG benchmarking in the portfolio
- Conception and implementation of training courses and workshops on the topic of sustainability
- Interface to internal departments, such as investor relations, corporatemunications, human resources, etc.
Who we are looking for
- Experience in sustainability / ESG gained in either the consulting sector or an inhouse ESG position, ideally within the private equity sector
- Sufficient experience and stature to be credible, working independently with portfolio management teams; influence the investment team;
build a strong external network
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and use data to highlight trends andmunicate data in a clear and concise manner
- Highly organised, with experience of effectively managing multiple work streams spanning multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Strongmunication and relationship building skills
