Global Market Access Director

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Market Access Director to join our innovative and diverse team. In this pivotal role, you will shape the market access strategy for our major brands across four targeted therapeutic areas.
Your expertise in navigating payer landscapes, generating evidence to highlight product value, implementing value-based pricing, and ensuring sustainable patient access solutions will be crucial.
Together, we will prepare to launch several revolutionary products, bringing new hope to patients swiftly.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Reporting to the Head of Global Market Access, you will play a crucial role in cross-functional pipeline decisions, ensuring payer perspectives are always integrated.
- Market Access Strategy : Develop and shape pricing, market access, and early commercial strategies. Your innovative approach will refine development plans and value propositions, maximizing customer value and patient access.
- Evidence Generation : Ensure optimal market and commercial access, successful HTA assessments, pricing, reimbursement, and formulary listings for our products on a global scale.
- Insight Development : Provide critical insights to guide the development of early and core Target Product Profiles (TPP) and clinical development plans for our pipeline.
- Regulatory Collaboration : Ensure relevant PICOs and patient-reported outcome (PRO) & CoA measurement strategies are included in our clinical trials, working closely with regulatory authorities.
- Optimized Strategy Development : Lead the creation of early value and access strategy assessments, early evidence, and gap analysis, including multi-indication strategies, to remain competitive in a dynamic market.
- HEOR Deliverables : Develop essential HEOR deliverables such as payer value stories, engagement tools, GVDs, economic models, retrospective database analyses, indirect comparisons, and real-world evidence data for assigned products.
- Partnership Building : Establish and maintain partnerships with payers, academic institutions, contract research organizations, and HEOR thought leaders to enhance the impact of HEOR & PRO research.
- Team Leadership : Lead, manage, and develop early value and access strategies and implementation plans, ensuring global market needs are reflected in our programs, with risks assessed and mitigation plans in place.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Science or Medicine, with a focus on Health Economics preferred.
- Extensive experience in strategic roles within Market Access, Health Economics, or Pricing for innovative pharmaceutical products.
- Proven international experience, showcasing the ability to navigate and influence in a complex, global environment.
- Understanding the impact of IRA and JCA on economic and value models.
- Background in immunology and / or oncology is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and guiding teams.
- Highly motivated, proactive team player ready to tackle challenges and drive results.
- Proficiency in English is essential; German language skills are an advantage.
