Amber Renewables is working with a leading German EPC specialising in utility-scale ground-mounted and commercial rooftop solar projects.
With a strong presence in Germany, Italy, Poland, UK and France, they specialise in projects ranging from 750KW - 3MW Rooftop and up to 100MW for Ground Mounted projects.
With over 2.2 GW of installed solar capacity across Europe and an additional 1.5 GW in development, they are committed to driving the transition to renewable energy.
Our vision is to become an Independent Power Producer (IPP) by 2028, further solidifying our position as a key player in the renewable energy sector.
What You Will Do : As a Solar Construction Manager, you will oversee the construction of our solar parks across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on Italy.
From technical evaluation to final commissioning, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of large-scale PV systems.
Responsibilities :
- Managing the construction process, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Performing on-site quality checks of works and services, acting as the technical project manager and interface between the Engineering Team and Construction Partners.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and third parties, ensuring smooth coordination and communication throughout the construction process.
- Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations, and overseeing the commissioning and handover of projects to the Operation & Services Team.
- Commencing weekly progress reports, inventory lists, and quality reports to track project milestones and ensure accountability.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Relevant work experience in managing international construction sites as an experienced or senior Construction Manager (Ground-Mount or Rooftop).
- Background as an electrician or similar knowledge in electrical systems.
- Fluent in German, with proficiency in English being advantageous.
- Proficiency in PV-Sol, PV-Syst or CAD
- Strong assertiveness, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset, coupled with a well-structured approach to work.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region.
