About IEG
Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) is responsible for the R&D, operation, and development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports.
Through online gaming, live broadcasts, and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.
Work closely with operation team, dev. team of Tencent studios or invested studios to guarantee the project localization fulfills global publishing requirements.
Develope localization business with invested game studios, and enhance the cooperation with them.
Propose and pitch suitable localization solutions for multiple projects, including translation, LQA and dubbing.
Analyze scope and game content and set the localization guidelines with linguists.
Create plan including scope, budget, schedule, workflow, quality management, risk management, procurement, etc.
Execute and monitor the projects to assure that quality, budget and deadlines are met according to the plans.
Requirements :
Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in Languages, Localization, or Translation.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational game company.
Proficient in localization project management, particularly within the game industry.
Strong knowledge of the game industry, specifically PC / Console games in the European and North American markets.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication and presentation skills, with a keen interest in business development.
Demonstrated potential for leadership and effective problem-solving skills.
