About the Role : We are seeking an Area Sales Manager Germany to join and grow-up the European Business Development Team.
This strategic role focuses on both enhancing customer base (B2B) and spearheading expansion within the food sector (beverages / food).
Main Responsibilities :
- Developing and extending the existing customer portfolio.
- Selling the full range of products in all market segments with a focus on industrial and lobby approaches.
- Ensuring the development of strategic accounts.
- Uncovering, building, and justifying customer needs.
- Preparing quotes and working closely with the engineering department.
- Handling all commercial tasks for the area in cooperation with the Regional Manager and various Plant Managers (business plan, budget, reporting).
Requirements :
- Proven track record in B2B sales within a manufacturing group.
- Identify opportunities, develop leads, close deals.
- Minimum of 2 years in technical sales positions (experience in the closure market / packaging is advantageous).
- Proficiency in German & English.
- Cultural awareness, flexibility, and high reactivity.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work independently.
- In-depth understanding of commercial drivers and their application.
- Driven to succeed and highly self-motivated while working within a European sales team.
- A full, clean driving license.
