Für unser Institut Robotik und Mechatronik in Oberpfaffenhofen suchen wir eine / n Working Student : Perception for Robotic Assitance in Space (w / m / d), Perception for Robot Assistance in Space
Das erwartet Sie :
Human exploration of the lunar surface is advancing to the next frontier. Through a collaborative effort with NASA and ESA, the Artemis program is poised to rekindle human presence on the moon.
This endeavor introduces a host of new challenges, such as integrating robotic assistance and fostering seamless collaboration between the crew and surface rovers.
Your task involves developing an innovative handheld interface designed for astronauts on the lunar surface. This interface will empower them to command autonomous systems effectively during extra-vehicular activities, enhancing the efficiency and success of lunar exploration missions.
Das erwarten wir von Ihnen :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or a similar engineering degree
- Experience in Modern C++ and the principles of OOP
- Knowledge of robotic subsystems like perception, navigation, locomotion or data management
- Knowledge of embedded systems, graphical interfaces or sensor fusion
- Applicants must be enrolled for a Master’s degree and must be eligible for obtaining a working license for working in aerospace in Germany.
- Please include a letter of motivation and a record of your current study progress.
