CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

The Luxembourg branch is a key hub, delivering high‑value‑added solutions such as securities custody, securities‑lending, fund administration, performance measurement, ratings, and bond‑issuance services.

To support the expansion of its business, BNP   Paribas is hiring a Front‑Office -Passive Currency Overlay Assistant (M / F) for a 6-month internship in Luxembourg starting in July 2026 .

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of financial operations and currency risk management, within a dynamic and international front-office environment.

WHAT'S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?

As an intern in the Passive Currency Overlay (PCO) team, you will play an active role of the daily production, validation and monitoring of FX hedging operations.

Your core duties will include :

• Deliver PCO services : Execute daily overlay processes with zero ‑ error accuracy, on ‑ time delivery and strict adherence to client guidelines.
• Calculate FX exposure & validate FX orders : Apply each client's hedging strategy, compute the required forward / NDF amounts and verify the numbers before they are sent to the trading desk.
• Drive continuous improvement : Identify bottlenecks, suggest automation (Excel / VBA) and contribute to process ‑ optimisation initiatives.
• Participate in transversal projects : Join projects such as new service roll ‑ outs, client ‑ on ‑ boarding, specific analytical reports with your manager and matches your skill set.
