Ihre Aufgaben
Test and establish a high throughput cloning and expression workflow for non-antibody proteins.
Implement high throughput DNA assembly techniques.
Evaluate and establish high throughput compatible protein expression and quantification methods for E. coli and HEK as standard expression hosts.
Collaborate closely with experts in molecular biology, data science, expression technologies, protein purification, and lab automation.
Ihre Qualifikation :
Master´s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience or a PhD with at least 2 years of relevant experience in molecular biology, protein engineering, biotechnology, or protein biochemistry.
Hands-on knowledge in generating DNA constructs in high throughput.
Independent development of cloning strategies and proficiency in standard sequencing and molecular biology software packages (e.g., Geneious, Sequencer).
In-depth and hands-on knowledge of state-of-the-art high throughput molecular biology cloning technologies (e.g., Golden Gate, Gibson, SLIC, site-directed mutagenesis & sequence analysis).
Experience in structure-guided protein engineering and biophysical protein characterization using standard software packages (e.g., AlphaFold, ChimeraX / PyMOL, MPI Bioinformatics Toolkit, SIB Protein Toolkit).
Hands-on experience with expression in standard organisms (E. coli, HEK, CHO).
Proficiency in standard protein biochemistry techniques (SDS-PAGE, Native PAGE, cGE, SEC-MALS, Western Blot).
Experience in multi-step protein purification strategies and their optimization.
Preferred experience with automated systems (e.g., Hamilton Vantage).
