Take this opportunity and apply for Data Analytics Expert  and join DP Worlds Data and Analytics Team in Germany. Y ou will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining robust data pipelines and systems and optimizing end-to-end data solutions, with a focus on Databricks, machine learning, and data modelling   This role is a remote role within Germany but requires travel from time to time.

How you will contribute

  • You will work alongside the Logistics Pillar and DP World regional operations to drive change within Group Technology.
  • You will work primarily alongside Operations Excellence as well as other functions including Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, and Procurement as needed.
  • You will work to support leaders on performance for your BU.
  • You will work closely within the senior IT shared services leadership team (Applications, Governance, Transformation, Backoffice) to ensure collaboration and alignment with solutions and services
  • You will work closely with Group Technology Head Office on the execution of strategic initiatives
  • You will maintain good relationship with procurement and finance to support DP World policies and processes
  • You will support Group Compliance, Group People, Legal in support of DP World policies and legal requirements in DP World business region.
  • You will maintain open communication with all key IT and business leaders to ensure top level IT service delivery

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Databricks and machine learning.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala(Pyspark preferred).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Databricks Associate Certification required.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
  • Knowledge and experience in using the MS Azure Analytics Services, especially Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory as well as MS Purview
  • Power BI knowledge preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
