As a Monitoring & Observability Enablement Consultant (f / m / d) you will join one of E.ON’s Digital Technology initiatives.

This means becoming a key member of a skilled team of Monitoring & Observability experts who will lead, shape, transform and Digitize our E.

ON businesses across Europe.

What you are responsible for

Client Engagement & Consulting : Advise clients on the design, implementation, and optimization of monitoring and observability solutions using New Relic.

Ensure that clients understand and leverage best practices to monitor and optimize their systems.

Requirements Gathering : Work closely with clients to analyze their specific needs and use cases related to monitoring and observability.

Translate these requirements into tailored solution concepts that align with their business objectives.

• Customization & Integration : Customize New Relic's capabilities according to client needs by developing bespoke dashboards, reports, alerts, and integrating the platform with other systems in close collaboration with the central product enablement team.
• Optimization : Continuously assess and refine monitoring configurations to optimize system performance, reduce downtime, and improve visibility into infrastructure and application health.
• Client Education : Provide custom training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the value of the New Relic platform in their day-to-day operations.
• Support & Troubleshooting : Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting complex issues, providing guidance to clients, and resolving problems to ensure optimal performance of monitoring systems.
• You actively communicate the value of observability, effectively convincing stakeholders of its benefits, and play a key role in driving a cultural shift towards its adoption.

What you are good at

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with monitoring and observability solutions, depth experience with New Relic would be a plus.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructures (cloud, on-premise, containers, microservices) and their monitoring and performance optimization.
• Experience advising clients on complex IT projects, preferably in the monitoring and observability domain.
• Proficiency in adapting and extending dashboards, alerting rules, reporting, and integrations within New Relic.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent German and English communication skills (written & spoken)
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
