One of our divisions, NanoAnalysis is looking for a Territory Sales Manager , an experienced sales professional to be based in Germany (home based, but easy access to an airport), who will be building strong networks, support our channel partners, and developing our presence within the industry.
The opportunity
In this role you will report to the Regional Sales Manager Central Europe and be responsible for sales activities to achieve agreed bookings targets in the region (North East Germany) whilst maximising profitability through optimising regional coverage, key account management, market segment focus, and efficient sales pipeline management.
Selling directly and through OEM partners, nurturing our new and existing customers, to position Oxford Instruments as their preferred partner and extend the OI market reach.
About you
As a dynamic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills with the desire to proactively generate and pursue new opportunities, you will be happy to work independently, have the ability to build strong relationships with new and existing customers and be able to understand our products, the market and how we can best meet the needs of our customers for their current and future endeavours.
You are likely to have a degree in physical, materials science, life sciences or engineering with relevant technical experience to understand highly complex technical products.
You have experience in electron microscopy, crystallography, X-Ray and electron spectroscopy as well as other analytical instruments / techniques are highly desirable.
You have a proven track record of technical and commercial sales in selling and managing complex sales cycles with multiply stakeholders.
You are fluent in German and English. It would be desirable if you have prior knowledge of Miller Heiman Sales Training, however training will be provided.
