Our client are looking for an ambitious Chief Strategy Officer to further develop the clean energy movement.
Your Main Responsibilities :
- Work directly with the CEO and founder to develop and carry out strategic plans and activities, as well as to operationalise the strategy.
- Drive business outcomes by collaborating closely with the CFO, CEO, COO, and other important members of the leadership team to achieve both operational and financial goals.
- Deliver positive financial outcomes in terms of revenue, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, and reporting by collaborating closely with the CFO.
- Establish attainable yet ambitious goals for profitability, performance, and growth.
- Provide useful measurement instruments to assess the efficacy and efficiency of both internal and external activities.
- Deliver reports on schedule and with accuracy.
- directing the creation, dissemination, and application of growth plans and procedures that work.
- Work together with other C-level executives on resource allocation, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives.
- Create, develop, and roll out plans for internal infrastructure, reporting systems, operational procedures, and corporate policies in close collaboration with the senior management team.
These initiatives are all intended to promote organisational efficiency, growth, and profitability.
- As one of the organization's main leaders, you should inspire and motivate staff members at all levels, including but not limited to professionals, managers, and members of the leadership team.
- Oversee the crisis teams' activation and operation.
- Create strategic alliances and connections with banks, investors, suppliers, customers, and all other business relationships that are professional in nature.
- Participate in the company's roadshows, work together with the CEO, COO, and CFO to raise capital, and communicate with possible investors and private equity firms to effectively and efficiently convey group information.
Your Qualifications and Requirements :
- Advanced degree in management, business administration, or a similar discipline.
- Proven leadership positions in the renewable energy or associated industries.
- A great deal of expertise working with companies that prioritise projects.
- A track record of implementation expertise and hands-on leadership in handling difficulties across multiple departments.
- Proven track record of executing efficient management frameworks, streamlining processes, and spearheading organisational transformation.
- Capabilities for identifying root causes and fixing problems.
- A solid grasp of the concepts, procedures, and methods of implementing crisis and incident management in a complex organisation, as well as experience with doing so.
- Capacity to communicate ideas concisely to a range of audiences.
- A strategic attitude capable of fostering long-term expansion.
- Adaptable and resilient in the face of difficulty.
