Head of Grid
AVA are currently partnered with an independent power producer with a healthy pipeline in Germany within Onshore Wind, looking for a Head of Grid.
This position is based in Berlin, Germany, with flexible hybrid working.
As the Head of the Grid Team, your primary duty will involve overseeing the intricate process of connecting wind parks to the electrical grid.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating with both internal teams and external collaborators to guarantee a seamless integration of parks into the grid system.
Key skills :
- Considerable expertise in connecting to grids and electrical engineering within Germany's renewable energy sector
- Thorough understanding of grid codes, regulations, and standards
- Proficient in project management, adept at handling multiple projects and stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with collaborating with local authorities and grid operators
- Understanding of the German energy market and its connection procedures
- Skilled in risk analysis and mitigation concerning grid connections
- Possession of an Engineering Degree
- Proficiency in German language at C1 level
