This is a principal-level hands-on individual contributor role with significant technical leadership responsibilities. You will design and deliver cloud-native backend services and AI-enabled capabilities that power our Test & Measurement platform. You will evaluate and adopt modern AI / ML frameworks, architectures, and development methodologies, driving best practices for scalable, high-quality software and model integration.
In this role, you will also build and evaluate LLM-driven product features, including prompt engineering, context design, retrieval strategies, and robust LLM integration into user-facing Test & Measurement workflows. As a senior technical leader, you will guide teams on model usage, quality, reliability, and maintainability.
You will additionally help customers leverage the full value of NI’s data platforms by applying advanced AI and machine learning methods to solve domain-specific challenges across engineering and industrial IoT applications.
