Senior Purchasing Operations Analyst
Salt is currently hiring a Senior Purchasing Operations Analyst for our client in Germany.
The role is a full time role, paying 80,000 euros per annum. It is a Hybrid role, with offices in Stuttgart.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver savings in Europe within the manufacturing, real estate and business spend.
- Reduce the number of suppliers in the Region; this should involve management of change and collaboration with local stakeholders.
- Establish a process that all contracts are tendered on a 3 year cycle.
- Actively participate in the energy sourcing strategy for the territory and execute the market tenders and lead initiatives to obtain potential government subsidies and grants.
- Drive supplier performance through continuous improvement initiatives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Develop bi-monthly communication reviews with each major location. This should involve the review of critical suppliers, upcoming change projects and an understanding of the forward business needs.
- Fully utilise E-Pro in EMEA and ensure that all eligible spend is addressed through the portal including maximum use of catalogues and contracts capturing line item information.
Qualifications :
- Previous purchasing experience within a major manufacturing company
- Strong understanding of the German equipment and contractor market
- Experience in tackling both CAPEX and OPEX spends
- Experience in tackling Business Support spend and Sundries
- Know-how of establishing contracts, monitoring performance and resolving issues.
Ideally
- University educated within a numerate discipline
- Multi-lingual capability : English essential
- Fluency in German and English Advantage :
- Organizationally savvy and able to influence and manage conflicts
- Structured in initiating and leading change through cross-functional teams.
- Business acumen to manage commercial relationships and negotiations.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
