Job Purpose
- Provide business partnering support for the VP of the segment.
- Responsible for all aspect of controlling and reporting of the Divisional Commercial.
- Provide complex financial analyst and maximize profitability and cost effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To be a strong Business Partner and bring support to dedicated segment and sales area.
- Support the Director, Commercial Finance with scenarios business cases analysis and reports.
- Monitor and analyse activities related to sales marketing and innovation.
- Support prepare run and monitor planning activities (forecast budget strategic) in accordance with Divisional and Corporate
- Identify investigate and analyse margins and potential improvement.
- Ensure internal system controls by ensuring divisional and group procedures are observed.
- Effectively challenge the commercial team while remaining supportive and building mutual trust.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate is expected to have a first degree, Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
With a minimum of 3-5 years in production industries with strong skills in SAP, BW / BI, and have Excel / Powerpoint capabilities.
Profile and Competencies
The job holder will be proactive, with a strong personality, good influencing skills and be resilient.
Other competencies include high analytical skills, goal oriented and able to meet deadlines.
They should be commercial in outlook and bring well developed interpersonal skills and sensitive to different cultures and ways of working.
This job lends itself to working autonomously at times and might best suit a person who is entrepreneurial and solution and action oriented and be able to focus on root cause analysis.
Fluent in English. The ability to speak French is an advantage but not essential.
Location
The location of the role is flexible however travel across Europe to our Flexible and Rigid sites will be required, it would lend itself to regular home working
