Your Role :

As Senior Legal Counsel GBF Fertility, you will join our Healthcare's Development & Franchises (D&F) Legal Team, reporting to the Head of Legal Healthcare, Development and Franchises.

In this role, you will be responsible for all legal matters related to the Fertility business, including Development, Medical and Franchise functions.

The key responsibilities of the position involve providing comprehensive legal support across a variety of areas. This includes offering guidance on global development operations and overseeing company-sponsored clinical trials, as well as addressing commercial and promotional matters.

The role also entails drafting and negotiating various agreements and assessing issues related to digital matters.

Additionally, the position requires close collaboration with colleagues in the Legal Healthcare Development & Franchises, as well as compliance and data privacy teams, and Regional / Country Legal teams.

Working closely with business leadership, headquarters staff, and stakeholders from different countries and time zones on various strategic projects is also essential.

Furthermore, the role involves leading ad hoc projects as assigned.

Who you are :

Legal degree and admission to practice law with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the Healthcare sector, preferably in a large law firm or legal department of an international Healthcare company;

with preferably, business acumen in Europe

• Experience with an international environment and ability to work in different cultures, enjoying a global work environment
• Comfortable working and interacting with all levels of management (including senior management) and to understand legal, finance, business and communication issues associated with the role
• Team player who is comfortable to work in cross-functional teams and to assume responsibility
• Well balance business counsel, being an influencer for the business
• Good negotiation skills and excellent communication skills. Result-orientation and problem-solving ability
• Experience in relevant business laws, including commercial, fair trade and competition, intellectual property, dispute resolution and digital matters
• Good oral and written English; German or any other additional languages are a plus
