As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating tests using tools e.g. Playwright or Selenium. Additionally, your IT expertise will be essential for extending APIs and verifying data through appropriate queries in databases such as MySQL and Elasticsearch.

Your Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification in the IT field, or a degree in computer science
• Experience with manual testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or cURL
• Solid knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, C#, NodeJS, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Initial experience in testing web applications or software, with knowledge of testing methods and tools, particularly familiar with test automation (e.

g. Playwright, Selenium)

• Solid knowledge of SQL and databases and experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA or Trello
• Strong quality awareness and customer orientation
• Fluent in English and German, with a minimum competency of B2 level

Your Responsibilities

• Systematically and regularly check our web applications and software on various devices to ensure a flawless function
• Take responsibility for manual and automated testing (initially 60% manual, 40% automated) of new software versions according to the requirements of product management, playing a key role in the release of new features
• Actively shape quality assurance and the associated processes within the team, with a particular focus on improving and automating the test infrastructure
• Work closely with product management to create and update test plans and test cases
• Support product management in evaluating tests and errors and provide advice on the implementation of new features
