Sales Manager - Medical Pressure Care Equipment

My client is a well regarded UK manufacturer of Pressure Care products . Due to growth and to support the strategic plan they now require Sales Manager for the German territory.
This is a "player manager role." The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing country sales as a whole and managing a small sales team.
They will also be responsible for managing and growing their own customer portfolio. Typical customers will be in the German hospital market (acute) and in the nursing home market.
The ideal person will have at least 5 years experience selling a medical device / medical equipment into hospital environments and an understanding of tissue viability .
They will be able to write and speak English and travel to the UK as required for meetings.
Based in Germany with previous experience selling into German hospitals this is a great time to join a growing business.
- Sales / BDM experience in the German hospital market
- 5 years experience selling a medical device / medical equipment product
- Tissue viability or pressure care experience a benefit
- Previous experience managing a small team as a "player manager"
- Knowledge of German medical tendering platforms
- Highly e-literate and proficient with video conferencing
- European Passport and Driving License
