- Intro For an international Distributor we we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager m / f / d for Pharma Ingredients / EXCIPIENTS / Chemische Rohstoffe / Nutraceuticals / API s with a solid technical background in chemistry or Pharma or Nutraceuticals and a significant experience in Sales (5 / 7 years) in Germany or German speaking countries Target is to expand and structure our Fine Chemical / Pharmaceutical Business Unit, we are currently looking for a Sales & Technical Manager, Hamburg office based / 2 days homeoffice Tasks Conduct market research to identify and pursue business opportunities to expand the company's Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new segments within the relevant industry;
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the industry; Make contact with potential clients, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to meet those needs;
Work closely with the Fine Chemical BU Director to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination on projects; Liaise with HQ to provide regular updates on the development of API business in Germany and Central Europe.
Prepare detailed reports on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance. Requirements Your background and skills : A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical science or a related discipline, and a good understanding of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) development and production processes.
Results-Driven, demonstrating a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the chemical raw materials industry.
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical market, particularly in the production of APIs Existing network within the chemical pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and explain the technical aspects of the products in a clear and compelling manner.
A proactive mindset to take initiative in order to identify and pursue opportunities; Ability to collaborate effectively with the existing sales team and other departments within the company, such as technical support and customer service Fluency in German.
Proficiency in English is often necessary for international business interactions and for internal communication
